The House
A home that
never forgets
where it is
Casa Querida stands behind an olive-green facade etched with an all-over botanical pattern — a quiet statement on one of Mérida's most beloved streets. Designed by architect Manolo Mestre, the house speaks in the language of Yucatán: handmade teal tiles, lime-washed walls, soaring beam ceilings trimmed with a pre-Hispanic zigzag motif. Thoughtfully restored using local materials and artisans, it reflects a refined sense of laid-back luxury rooted in the Yucatán.
A central staircase rises beside an orange tree, guiding you toward the elevated pool terrace. From the pool, you'll find views of a majestic Ceiba tree — sacred in Mayan culture — along with Chakah trees and native vegetation. Five beautifully designed rooms open toward the garden; each offers a different perspective of the same shared environment. Ideal for group getaways, celebrations, or slow gatherings with friends and family.
